Whether you have a question about Garmin dog tracking equipment, coon hunting gear, shipping, returns, or ordering, there's a good chance we've heard it before. Take a look through some of our most common questions below. If you don't find what you're looking for, give us a holler. We'll help you figure it out.
Ordering & Shipping
We know you don't want to wait around for your gear. Most in-stock orders ship the
same or next business day, and we ship on Saturdays too. If something is going
to hold up your order, we'll give you a call and let you know.
Yes.
We offer free shipping on qualifying orders over $100. Some larger or heavier
items are excluded, including boots, dog box pads, and certain oversized
products.
Once your order ships, we'll send you a tracking number so you can follow it on its
way to you.
If you're outside the United States and would like to place an order, give us a
call at 918-822-4067. We'll be glad to see what we can do.
Yes, as long as your order hasn't shipped yet. Contact us as soon as possible, and
we'll help you change or cancel it. Once an order has shipped, it will need to
be handled according to our return policy.
If an item in your order is backordered, we'll give you a call with an estimated
timeline. If you'd rather not wait, we'll help you find another option or
cancel the backordered item.

Products & Choosing The Right Gear
Absolutely!
Tell us what you're hunting, what equipment you already have, and what you're
trying to do. We'll help you sort through the options and find the gear that
makes sense for you.
Yes!
There are a lot of options when it comes to dog tracking and training
equipment, and the most expensive system isn't necessarily the right one for
everybody. Give us a call, and we'll help you find a system that fits your
needs, your dogs, and your budget.
Compatibility can get confusing, especially with different generations of tracking and
training equipment. If you're not sure whether a collar, antenna, charger,
mount, or other accessory will work with what you already have, give us a call
before ordering. We'd much rather help you get the right thing the first time.
Give us a holler. We can get our hands on most of what you'll need for coon hunting.
If we can't get what you're looking for, we'll do our best to point you in the
right direction.
Yes!
While coon hunting is our specialty, many of the products we carry are also
used by rabbit, squirrel, bear, mountain lion, bird, and other hunters.
Depending on how you hunt, you may find dog tracking equipment, hunting lights,
collars, leads, boots, apparel, and other gear that works for you.
Garmin Dog Tracking & Training
That depends on how you hunt and what you need your system to do. Budget, the type of hunting you do, whether you need training features, and the maps and navigation features you want can all make a difference. Give us a call, and we'll help you compare Garmin dog tracking systems and find the setup that fits your needs.
A Garmin tracking collar lets you keep track of your dog's location. A tracking and training collar adds training features, including tone and stimulation. If you're not sure which type you need, we'll help you figure it out before you buy.
All of the following Garmin dog collars are compatible with all Garmin Alpha Series handhelds:

If you have an older Garmin dog collar, you may not need to replace it when upgrading to a newer Alpha handheld. The TT15X, T5X, TT15, T5, and TT10 are compatible with the newer Garmin Alpha Series handhelds, along with the newer TT25 and T20 collars.
If you're upgrading an older Garmin dog tracking system and aren't sure what you can keep and what needs to be replaced, give us a holler at 918-822-4067 before you buy. We'll help you figure it out.
Traditional Garmin dog tracking systems communicate between the handheld and dog collar without relying on cellular service. The Garmin LTE Tracking Collar is different because it uses a cellular network and requires a Garmin subscription.
Garmin advertises tracking ranges of up to 9 miles for certain dog tracking collars. Actual range can vary considerably depending on terrain, trees, hills, obstructions, and other conditions where you're hunting.
Yes—and we do it for free upon request. We can update the software, pair your collars with your handheld, install maps, name your collars, and get your new Garmin system set up before we ship it. That way, when it arrives, you're a whole lot closer to being ready for the woods.
Absolutely!

Garmin products include a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage is provided by Garmin and is subject to Garmin's warranty terms and conditions.

Red Fern Hound Supply is a family-owned small business based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in the heart of the Cherokee Nation.
Where the Red Fern Grows was one of my favorite books growing up. When we moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma—the town where Billy picked up Old Dan and Lil' Ann—and decided to start a hound supply business. Red Fern Hound Supply just felt like the right name. It was our way of paying homage to a book I loved as a child.
We don't currently have a brick-and-mortar storefront, but we do offer local pickup in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. If you're local and would like to pick up your order, contact us and we'll help you arrange it.
