How often do you use 4 levels of red, spot etc?  Most of the lights today have too many wasted clicks.  This light was designed for practical use, keeping in mind how it would be used in the woods.  The red light is next to the spot light on the switch, not all the way on the backwards position.  Once you see a coon’e eyes you want to bright it up, not click 6-8 clicks to your spotlight.
